Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Aimring collects, why we collect it, and how it is stored and protected. We keep it simple because we believe you deserve to understand exactly what happens with your information.
1. Our Commitment
Aimring is a training tool, not an advertising platform. We do not sell your data, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Whether you use the free or Pro plan, the only reason we collect any data is to make the app work for you.

- Display name and optional profile photo
- Authentication method (email/password, Google OAuth, or Sign in with Apple)
Training Data

We do NOT collect
- Your location or GPS data
- Device contacts, microphone, or camera (beyond profile photo upload)

3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and authenticate your account
- To store and display your sessions and training history
- To show you and your friends leaderboard data
- To generate your session summary and grouping analysis
- To improve app performance and fix bugs (anonymised aggregate usage only)
4. Data Storage
All data is stored securely in Supabase, a Postgres-based backend service with Row Level Security enabled. This means your data is only accessible to your own authenticated account and to friends you have explicitly connected with.
Supabase stores data in data centres in the EU or US depending on your region. You can review Supabase's own privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
5. Third-Party Services
Aimring uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database, storage, and authentication
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in with Google (subject to Google's privacy policy)
- Apple Sign In — optional sign-in with Apple (subject to Apple's privacy policy)
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management (subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Vercel — app hosting and CDN delivery
No advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or data brokers are used.
6. Sharing Your Sessions
Sessions are private by default. You can choose to share individual sessions with friends from the session summary screen. You control this toggle and can turn it off at any time. Shared sessions are only visible to users in your friends list — not publicly.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — sessions, equipment, profile, and friend connections — is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain processing
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page.
9. Security
We take security seriously. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Supabase Row Level Security ensures users can only access their own records. We review our security practices regularly.
10. Children's Privacy
Aimring is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify users via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
