Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Aimring. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Aimring.
1. Introduction
Aimring is an archery training app for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android. Archers use it to log sessions and scores, track progress, manage equipment, follow competition seasons, train with friends and work with a coach. Aimring is free to use. These terms cover the app and the aimring.app website.
2. Who Can Use Aimring
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms on your behalf. If you use Aimring for a club or organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
3. Your Account
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login details secure
- All activity under your account
- Giving accurate information, including your date of birth if you enter competitions
- Telling us straight away if you think someone else is using your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Aimring for anything unlawful
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or its security
- Upload content that is abusive, harmful, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Harass other archers, or contact them in ways they have not agreed to
- Submit competition results or score sheets you know are false
5. Your Content
Everything you add to Aimring stays yours: sessions, scores, notes, voice memos, photos, equipment and profile details. You give us a limited licence to store it, process it and show it back to you. Where you choose to share it, we also show it to your friends, your coach, or other users as described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for advertising. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
6. Competitions and Seasons
Season calendars, venues and dates come from the organising federation and can change. Always confirm with the organiser. Results you log may be reviewed against the score sheet you upload, and we may reject a result we cannot verify. Aimring is not an official federation system unless a federation tells you so, and the official result is always the organiser's.
7. Coaches
When you accept a coach, they can see your training and competition data as described in the Privacy Policy. You can remove a coach at any time. Coaches must only use their athletes' data to coach them, and must not share it outside Aimring without the athlete's permission.
8. Health and Safety
Heart rate, energy, steps and other fitness figures in Aimring come from your watch, sensor or phone. They are for general training information only. Aimring is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new training programme, and stop if you feel unwell. Archery can be dangerous: always follow your range's safety rules. You are responsible for training safely.
9. Intellectual Property
The Aimring app, website, design, graphics and brand belong to Aimring and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works from them without written permission. Your own data stays yours.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep Aimring available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Some features work offline and sync when you reconnect. We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
Aimring is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, Aimring and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of the app, including lost data or training records. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
12. Ending Your Use
You can stop using Aimring and delete your account at any time in the app. Your data is then permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This cannot be undone. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
13. App Stores
If you downloaded Aimring from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for Aimring or its support. If you downloaded Aimring from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Aimring after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
