Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Aimring. By accessing or using the app you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the app.

1. Introduction

Aimring is an archery training logger available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) at app.aimring.app. It allows archers to log sessions, track progress, manage equipment, and connect with friends. Aimring offers a free tier and a Pro subscription plan — see the pricing page on our website for current details.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any feature of Aimring, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you accept these Terms of Use. If you are using Aimring on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate information when registering
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

You may sign in with Google OAuth or email and password. We do not store plaintext passwords.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Aimring for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service
  • Upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content
  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the service

5. User Content

All training data you enter — sessions, scores, equipment details, and profile information — remains yours. By saving data to Aimring, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that data back to you and, where you choose to share it, to friends within the app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal training data with third parties for advertising purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Intellectual Property

All design, code, graphics, and branding in Aimring are owned by Aimring and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Your own session data is yours; the application and its interface are ours.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Aimring available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. As a PWA, the app caches static assets so some features remain usable offline.

8. Limitation of Liability

Aimring is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aimring and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or training records.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, all your sessions, equipment, and profile data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This action is irreversible.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Aimring after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will note the revision date at the top of this page.
